Our Board
The board’s job is to see that everything that needs to be done gets done – legally, ethically, and as well as possible in the best interests of its students.
The Board is also the employer of all staff, including the principal, and sets the overall strategic direction for the school. The principal is the board’s ‘chief executive’ and manages the school in line with the board’s direction and policies.
The Board of Trustees meets at school at least twice a term at 5.30pm. Upcoming meetings are advertised in the school newsletter.
The Board of Trustees have an election every three years, with the last election held in 2025. The Board is made up of five elected parent representatives, a staff rep and the principal. The Presiding Member (Board Chair) is elected at the first meeting of each school year.
